But in the world of British geekdom there is another iconic program and that is Red Dwarf. One of the funniest Sci Fi comedies that you can watch now on the air for 25 years! In this episode you may just find Gerri getting her geek out big time and even Eugenia can’t blame her. Gerri and Eugenia talk about Red Dwarf and the heart and soul of the show Dave Lister, played by none other than Craig Charles who they interview this episode. Find out about his passion for the show and why he keeps going back to play “Dave”. In this episode Eugenia and Gerri cover about 70 years of Science Fiction from Doctor Who to Farscape to Stargate with the only actor (well as far as our research shows) that has participated in three of the longest running Sci Fi shows over three continents! Farscape an Aussie Sci Fi show deserves to be watched by so many more Sci Fi fans. With the use of Jim Henson’s puppetry, its strong characters, and how the puppets seemed like real characters with actors bringing them believably to life. Ben Browder talks about how he wanted to work with Jim Henson’s company, loved working on Farscape, his move to Stargate and Doctor Who! Wow Ben Browder could be every Sci Fi fans ultimate actor! Thanks go to Oz Comic Con’s Carissa, Rand, and Maggie from www.ozcomiccon.com.

In this episode Gerri and Eugenia discuss Warehouse 13 and the world of Pete, Myka, Claudia and Arnie! This series has a winning formula that allows it to take an object from any time, any place and any person in history and do a story about them. A cross between Indiana Jones, cop shows, a "who-dun it", with the odd supernatural mix. It has wizards, secret societies, mythology, government secrets, inventions and the world of art to name a few! But is it fun? Heck yeah! The show never takes itself seriously and Pete the "everyman" gives all of us those pop culture references that shows he is just like us and loves all of it as well! Gerri and Eugenia think that that he is a geek! To their delight that is who they interview in this podcast the funny and whacky Eddie McClintock. Not only is he a great actor but he is also a graphic designer and he sells his art on is website www.eddiemcclintock.com Have a look. Gerri and Eugenia would like to thank Oz Comic Con www.ozcomiccon.com and Blue Planet PR www.blueplanetpr.com.au for the chance to spend some time with the wonderful funny "Pete" from Warehouse 13.

April 02, 2013Podcast 70More Than Just a Dabo Girl - Chase MastersonWhen you think of Star Trek Deep Space Nine you not only think of the main cast but the many recurring characters in the show. This is a show with a strong supporting cast that Eugenia and Gerri could have spent hours discussing. To choose just a few of them was proving a challenge for them both as one name lead to another including Gul Dukat, Garak and or course the magnificent Ferengi. One of these memorable characters was Leeta who was not only a Dabo girl but also the consort of the Grand Nagus. In this podcast Eugenia and Gerri interview Chase Masterson who played Leeta. Thanks go to Scott and Diana Liston from First Contact Conventions, www.firstcontactconvention.com.au for arranging the interview.
