In this podcast Eugenia and Gerri discuss how mainstream TV and movie awards do not seem to want to recognise the genres of Sci Fi and Fantasy, why? So, in this episode they look at movies of James Bond, Mission Impossible and Austin Powers and more and explain why they should be classed as Sci Fi rather than just Action or Comedy movies. Why does Sci Fi get such a bagging from the movie and television awards community see of you agree with their thoughts on the issue. They have an interesting interview with David Faustino (yes “the” Bud Bundy) who talks about his time as a child star, his friendship with Corin Nemec and his role as Mako in The Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra, yes even though it is manga it is Sci fi. They thank their friends Jason and Darren from Gifts for the Geek www.giftsforthegeek.com.au for the interview.

Stargate Atlantis has not lost its charm and continues to be watched my millions all over the world. Was its run cut too short, could it have lasted a few more seasons? Listen to Gerri and Eugenia give their opinions about the show and their thoughts about the characters Zelenka and Chuck the Technician. In this episode Eugenia and Gerri cover about 70 years of Science Fiction from Doctor Who to Farscape to Stargate with the only actor (well as far as our research shows) that has participated in three of the longest running Sci Fi shows over three continents! Farscape an Aussie Sci Fi show deserves to be watched by so many more Sci Fi fans. With the use of Jim Henson’s puppetry, its strong characters, and how the puppets seemed like real characters with actors bringing them believably to life.   Ben Browder talks about how he wanted to work with Jim Henson’s company, loved working on Farscape, his move to Stargate and Doctor Who! Wow Ben Browder could be every Sci Fi fans ultimate actor! Thanks go to Oz Comic Con’s Carissa, Rand, and Maggie from www.ozcomiccon.com.

Gerri and Eugenia continue their homage to the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who! Which companions do they like the best, and which ones are they not too fond off how they interacted with the Doctor and what they contributed! The exiting thing that happens in this episode is that they have a 'New Who' companion, well, a reluctant companion! It is the one and only Jackie Tyler, Rose's mum. The wonderful, and friendly Camille Coduri. Gerri and Eugenia would like to thank Paul and Sarah from The Doctor Who Club of Australia www.dwca.org.au for the chance to interview Camille.
